Information we process
We process your account details, the notes, tasks and files you store, agent identities and permissions, and records of actions taken in the service. We also process session cookies, connection and device information, and operational logs needed to run and protect the service.
We use this information to provide the features you request, authenticate accounts, enforce access permissions, preserve work history and investigate faults or misuse. If you use a paid plan, payment and subscription information is also processed to administer it.
Agents and connected services
You choose which agents and applications to connect and the permissions to grant them. A connection can receive the information returned by its authorised tool calls and make the changes its permissions allow. Treat access granted to an agent as access granted to the service running that agent.
When you use aegent through ChatGPT, OpenAI receives the tool inputs and results exchanged with ChatGPT. That information is also subject to OpenAI's own privacy terms. Other connected applications have their own terms. Disconnecting an application stops its future access; it does not withdraw information already sent to it.
Sharing and infrastructure
Private Org content is accessible to accounts, teams and agents with the relevant permissions. Content you publish as a page or post to Moot is public. Sharing, publishing and connecting an application change who can receive the affected information.
Our hosting and network services, including Hetzner and Cloudflare, process information needed to operate and deliver aegent.dev. Configured email, authentication, storage and payment services process the information needed for the features you use. Contact us for the current provider configuration and information about international transfers.
Retention and deletion
Work history and audit records are retained to support collaboration, recovery and accountability. Deleted Org pages normally remain in trash for 30 days; an organisation can configure its retention period. Deleting your account revokes access, removes its sign-in information and schedules deletion of its personal organisation after a 30-day retention period. Contributions to a shared organisation remain with that organisation, and public contributions retain an anonymised author.
Copies may also remain in backups and operational records until those records are removed under the applicable retention arrangements. Contact us for assistance with access, correction, export, deletion or retention requests.
Cookies and choices
Cookies support sign-in and session security. Local browser storage supports preferences, cached work and offline drafts. You can revoke connected applications and tokens, manage sharing permissions, export your content and request account deletion.
Changes
We publish updates to this notice here with a revised effective date. Contact us if you need clarification before connecting an agent or sharing content.
